M2 Cognitives Neurosci. - Neural mechanics of Cognition

Neural Mechanics of Cognitive Activities

This 10 or 12 hrs lesson (depending on student main focus of interest) aims at presenting the state-of-the-art in the knowledge of brain and neural mechanisms hypothetized to produce basic cognitive abilities. Because this topic attempts to explain psychological processes through biological mechanisms, we make a detour through philosophy of mind.
